Ray’s Photoart

Ray calls his work or his studio “PhotoArt” because to him both are more than photography!

When asked, “What do you mean by that”? He says, “Well, it’s difficult to explain! I can feel it”!

“I’ve been trying to write my statement,” he goes on, “this is what I’ve come up with”.

“It’s more than photography! It’s the art of making you look ‘right’, more beautiful, more fun, or more of whatever you want to be, and the best you can ever be”!

By looking “right” he means looking your best for the part you want to portray. Most of the time it is yourself in the best light. But in acting, or in commercials, you may want to be someone else. Most important of all, you must NOT look “posed”! The rest of his statement is self-explanatory.

His full name is Ray Rapeepat. Born and raised in Thailand. Graduated in Economics-and-law from a university in England. Advertising was his career in Thailand.

During a photo shoot for one of his early ad production, Ray found that the professional photographer he hired kept missing the shots. He was a split second too late for the right action. So, Ray had to take the photos himself. Since then, he became a professional photographer (as well as an ad man)!
